David Fair's professional negligence claim

David Fair lived with his family in council accommodation in Birmingham.

Due to the house being damp and in a poor state of repair, he and his sister both developed a chest condition, which lasted over a year.

As a result he instructed a firm of solicitors in Birmingham to make a personal injury claim on his behalf.

The solicitors in question issued legal proceedings, but unfortunately they failed to observe the automatic directions (or court timetable) then in force. This resulted in the personal injury claim being struck out.

This firm had previously acted for his mother, in a seperate accident at work claim. We were therefore happy to accept further instructions to act for her son in a professional negligence claim against the solicitors concerned.
