About Lexcel

Lexcel is the Law Society's practice management quality mark. Lexcel was written specially for the legal profession and allows all types of law practice to undergo independent assessment, to certify that the Lexcel practice management criteria are being met.

The Lexcel quality mark also addresses the business needs of solicitor firms. Accordingly one aspect of accreditation is to promote effective practice management and improved client care.

There are roughly 12 independent assessment bodies that undertake Lexcel quality mark assessment. External assessments by third parties help keep the process objective and independent.

Upon Lexcel being awarded, the certificate remains valid for three years, subject to annual maintenance visits.

We achieved Lexcel quality mark accreditation in September 2004.
